PolyTuplet Step Sequencer Max for Live Device

In Short: Sequence 4 independent monophonic voices using any rhythmic subdivision for insane polyrhythmic creations.

For the purposes of using and understanding this device, a tuplet is any evenly divided beat with in a larger one. That larger beat in this case is whatever pulse you have defined in Ableton by BPM. The most common subdivisions in Western Music are divisions of 2 and 3, sometimes referred to as duple and triple, such as eight notes (2 subdivisions within a quarter note), triplet eight notes (3 subdivisions within a quarter note), sixteenth notes (4 subdivisions within a quarter note), triplet sixteenths (6 subdivisions within a quarter note), or thirty-second notes (8 subdivisions within a quarter note). All DAW's that I am aware of are designed to only deal with these duple and triple subdivisions, in regards to quantization, grid or step based constructions, plugin sync settings etc. It's usually difficult and awkward to deal with subdivisions not in this duple and triple collection. The PolyTuplet Step Sequencer is a simple tool to allow for quick rendering of ideas containing any rhythmic subdivisions. 

This device is designed for real time performance as well as for building tracks by automating presets for each voice.

Use of PolyTuplet Step Sequencer requires some basic understanding of step sequencers by the user. If you're not familiar with them, spend some time reading about them and using the default Max for Live step sequencer.
